Renate Liebel
Renate Liebel is a visual artist who was born and raised in Upper Swabia, Germany and Southern California,USA. She studied painting and intermedia design at the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain before traveling through Europe with a mobile animation studio and then founding a studio for objects and spatial installation in the studios of the KV Wagenhalle in Stuttgart. There she researches plant structures and the perception of nature, caring decoration practices and order. She is involved as a neighborhood planter, art mediator and is one of the persons who founded “Mothers*, Warriors and Poets”. She lives with her family of five in Stuttgart, Germany.
