Teresa Monfared (*1988) is a freelance scenographer, performer, and activist. Until October 2024, she managed the office of the Scenography Association and is a board member and designated project lead for the .Culture.Care. project within the Bühnenmütter* association. She is passionate about improving the compatibility and visibility of caregiving in the arts, advocating for fair working conditions for freelance artists in the performing and visual arts, and pushing for a shift towards eco-sustainable and circular processes in stage and costume design. She lives and works with her 1 to 4 children in Berlin.
